Description
Summary:In order to solve the problem that the hydrate grows slowly with a long induction time and randomness, the technology of promoting HCFC-141b(R141b)hydrate formation is studied in quiescent systems. The effect of surfactant SDS and copper wire on HCFC-141b hydrate formation is investigated experimentally. The induction time of R141b hydrate is reduced greatly, and hydrate could form rapidly by adding SDS or (and) copper wire in quiescent systems. The effect of SDS mass concentration on hydrate formation is also studied with copper wire. Experimental results show that the best mass concentration of SDS is about 0.1 %, and the average induction time is about 1.3 h. The repeatability of R141b hydrate formation is good, and hydrate forms compactly.
