Sudden Severe Hypotension After Ultrasound Guided Femoral Nerve Block in a Fracture Neck Femur Patient: A Case Report
ABSTRACT Local anesthetic systemic toxicity or hematomas are speculated as reasons for hemodynamic collapse after femoral block, which can be avoided by ultrasound guidance. In case of severe hypotension despite standard precautions, local anesthetic spread towards epidural space can be suspected.
