| description | After more than 10 years of development, transanal total mesorectal excision (taTME) still faces many challenges. With the accumulation of cases, the advantages of short-term and longterm efficacy of taTME are gradually reflected. Strengthening standardized training is conducive to reducing the impact of the learning curve. Structured training has important reference value in simulated surgery before clinical application, and the gradual training of transanal endoscopy may be the key to shortening the learning curve. Applying new training models and digital technology adds new tools to taTME training and may become an important part of standardized training in the future. |
