| description | The article defines the concept of individual social capital as an individual level of knowledge, skills and social competences. Then, attention was focused on knowledge, attributing to it the features of a constitutive component of the aforementioned capital. Next, the basic definitions of knowledge along with its typology were presented, and then the distinguished types of knowledge were characterized and the importance of integrating everyday knowledge with scientific knowledge, as well as integration between scientific fields and disciplines, was indicated. The specificity of acquiring knowledge in the process of formal, non-formal and informal education was also discussed. |
