Description
Summary:Changes in the lungs of nonlinear white rats with a modeled acute respiratory distress syndrome without any therapy are characterized by progression of destructive necrotic processes with increasing of exudation and infl ammatory infi ltration during all 6 days of experiment. Infl ammatory reactions are replaced by fi brosis when simultaneous antibacterial and substitutive surfactant therapy is applied. Administration of only antibacterial therapy leads to prolongation of destructive infl ammatory process and deceleration of fi brosis appearance by 6 day of experiment.
