Description
Summary:The article presents 26 species from the Terebrantia suborder, among them 2 species belong to Aeolothripinae family and 24 species to Thripidae family (21 species from Thripinae subfamily and 3 species from Panchaetothripinae subfamily), which in Slovenia are placed among economically important species (pests, pollinators, predators) on cultivated plants. Based on two years monitoring (2000-2001) and the data about geographical distribution on Thysanoptera species in Slovenia in previous decade the article offers the list of their most important hosts.
