description Objective To analyze the relationship between the level of protein kinase C(PKC),thyroid hormone and the degree of neurological impairment and prognosis inpatients with cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 80 patients with cerebral infarction who received medical treatment in Anhui No.2 Provincial People,s Hospital from August 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the observation group, and 84 healthy people who underwent physical examination in the same hospital were selected as the control group. The levels of PKC,thyroid hormone in the two groups were detected and compared, and the levels of PKC,thyroid hormone in patients with different degrees of neurological impairment and different prognosis of cerebral infarction were compared, and the related factors affecting the prognosis of cerebral infarction patients were analyzed by logistic regression. Results The levels of triiodotyrosine(T3),tetraiodotyrosine(T4), free triiodothyronine(FT3)and free tetraiodothyronine(FT4)in observation group were lower than those in control group, while the levels of PKC,thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)were higher than those in control group (P<0.05). The levelsof T3 and FT3 in mild group were higher than those in moderate group and severe group, while those in moderate group were higher than those in severe group(P<0.05). The PKC,TSH levels of mild group was lower than that of moderate group and severe group, while the moderate group was lower than severe group(P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference in T4 and FT4 levels among the three groups(P>0.05). The prognosis-favorable group had lower NIHSS scores at admission,PKC,and TSH levels than the prognosis-unfavorable group, while T3,T4,FT3,and FT4 levels were higher(P<0.05). Logistic multivariate regression analysis showed that increased NIHSS score, increased PKC,decreased T3,decreased T4,decreased FT3,decreased FT4 and increased TSH were independent risk factors affecting the prognosis of cerebral infarction patients(P< 0.05). Conclusion There is a significant correlation between the level of PKC ,thyroid hormone and the degree of neurological impairment and prognosis of patients with cerebral infarction. The detection of thyroid hormone level can effectively evaluate the prognosis of patients.
