| description | In the field of electricity market, the existence of market power of generation companies will lead to inefficient allocation of electricity resources, harm social welfare, and reduce the efficiency of market competition. This article analyzes the behaviors of generation companies, and establishes a market power risk evaluation index system for generation companies, and applies the improved Critic-G1 comprehensive weighting method to evaluate the market power risk of generation companies in a region. The results of the case study show that the market power levels of generation companies in this region are different. The proposed method in this paper has been applied in a province of East China and achieved good results, which can provide a reference for market operators to effectively identify the market power risks of generation companies. |
