| Summary: | The article discusses ultrasonic impact treatment of welded seams and removal of residual internal stresses using local heat treatment (normalization), structural analysis of seams after heat treatment, impact toughness of a welded joint made of 09G2S steel. Results of the analysis of main pipelines and pressure vessels for storing liquid media. In this regard, one of the ways to solve this problem is to use methods for their strengthening. The methods of research and technology of ultrasonic impact treatment of welded joints of low-alloy steel are described. The results of studies of the influence of ultrasonic impact treatment on the redistribution of residual stresses in electric-welded joints are also presented. The results of tensile tests at room temperature and subjected to treatment in seams and in the fusion zone are shown, the results of changes in the microstructure (metallography) of the surface layer of the welded joint zones, due to ultrasonic impact treatment, are provided. It has been established that during ultrasonic impact treatment of welded joints made of 09G2S steel, it is redistributed into stretching and compression. |
