TANAIT SOCIETY (SARMAT SETTLERS IN TANAIS, II-III CENTURIES AD)
The article studies Tanait society in Tanais II-III centuries AD. Tanaits consisted of Sarmatians settled in Tanais for military service. The article analyzes the cultural transformation of Sarmats in Tanais, the ethnic composition of Tanait society and their elite.
