Description
Summary:The relevance of the research presented in the article is due to the growing globalisation in the field of intercultural communications. Bilingual poets and writers are often seen as translators from the language of one culture to another, while in many cases we are dealing with the switching of linguistic and cultural codes of simultaneous bilinguals. The purpose of the article is to examine the poetic heritage of M.I. Tsvetaeva from the standpoint of her natural, innate multilingualism. The work analyses German linguistic and cultural markers in selected works of M.I. Tsvetaeva on the basis of a systematic approach, the method of deduction, and linguistic analysis of a poetic text. The result of the analysis is the statement that M. Tsvetaeva is a woman of the world, for whom poetry becomes a natural form of expression of interculturalism. The inclusion of German linguistic and cultural markers in the Russian-language literary text reflects the poet’s search for a balance between two languages and cultures that are equally native to her.
