Description
Summary:This article examines the spaces of memory among different generations of the Moroccan Jewish diaspora. The concept of postmemory is used to include the generations of children born from parents who migrated from Arabo-muslim countries. The generations of children who arrived or were born after their parents’ traumatic leaving of their home country have even greater difficulties because they cannot return to their country of origin. Here, diasporic museums and literature will be analyzed through different generations, as this literature recalls with force the migration narratives of their parents and grandparents.
