Summary:Introduction. The object of the research conducted by the authors is the tourism industry of the Angara-Yenisei macroregion, as a driver  of  socio-economic development.  The  development  of  domestic  Russian  tourism  is  extremely  relevant  and  necessary  in modern political  and economic conditions. Goal. Research and analysis of the tourism services market and its impact on the macroregion. The study examines such indicators for assessing the functioning of the tourism industry as the number of employees involved in the industry, the number of tourists, income from services provided, etc. Materials and methods. This study was carried out using an empirical and theoretical analysis of the Angara-Yenisei macroregion tourism market, as well as the construction of a comparative table through a SWOT analysis. Results and discussion. Based on the conducted modern analysis of the state of the problem, the trends in the development of the tourism industry of the Angara-Yenisei macroregion as a tool with a multiplicative effect for the socio-economic development of the macroregion are determined. Conclusion. This study allowed us to form a  general idea of the state of the Angara-Yenisei macroregion tourism industry and identify the tools and mechanisms for its development.
