Description
Summary:To the best of our knowledge, to date, there is no comprehensive review study that has explored the effects and impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on emergency medical services (EMS) systems. Therefore, this systematic review will be conducted to investigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the delivery of pre-hospital emergency care services in EMS agencies. To achieve the study aims, electronic databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar will be searched for related studies. It seems that reviewing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on EMS systems, play an important role in identifying and solving the main challenges of EMS in future pandemics.
