Abstract
This article aims to explore the mechanisms underlying polemical language on social networks, highlighting its sociocultural, psychological and communicational implications. Through an in-depth analysis, we will seek to deconstruct the foundations of these online discourses, examining the motivations behind them and the effects they generate within virtual communities.
