Description
Summary:Plant hormone IAA, IBA. NAA and 2,4-D benefited to the shoot tip culture of Gossypium hirsutum and G. barbadense, while plant hormone BA, KT and ZT suppressed the shoot tip culture. In a range of 0.01-0.1 mg/L IBA, the medium promoted to the shoot tip culture, and the concentration being more than 0.1 mg/L, the medium promoted the formation of adventitious root, but it suppressed the differentiation of axial bud and the shoot tip growth. The best type and concentration of plant hormone was IBA in the concentration of 0.01-0.1 mg/L. There was significant difference among the genotypes of G. hirsutum and G. barbadense in the shoot rip culture with the medium of 0.1 mg/L IBA. G. barbadense was better than G. hirsutum in the formation of rooting, but G. hirsutum was better in the growth of regenerated plant than G. barbadense. In G. hirsutum. Zhe506 was the best. Simian3 was bad. In G. barbadense. Pima3-33 was the best, Menoufil0 was bad.
