description Communication & signaling system is an important part of autonomous-rail rapid transit(ART). It is responsible for operation dispatching, operation monitoring, ensuring the operation safety of autonomous-rail rapid tram and improving transportation efficiency. The system needs to have clear system structure, reasonable function distribution and appropriate technical scheme selection to ensure the good operation effect of autonomous-rail rapid tram. It proposed a scheme of communication & signaling system by analyzing the system functional requirements, and explained its key technologies such as positioning method, communication means, signal priority, system integration, etc. Finally, the next research direction of the system was prospected.
