Description
Summary:The development profile of soluble hemolymph proteins was analyzed by the gradient SDS-polyacrylamide gel (5%-20%) electrophoresis during the larval and pupal stages of Aldrichina grahami (Aldrich) which was kept at 24℃. Twelve distinct component bands with a molecular mass range of approx. 11-230 kD were resolved. The quantity of each protein band changed with development in the larval and pupal stages acted a certain pattern. The quantities of band a (230 kD) and band i (20 kD) gradually increased during the larval stage and decreased gradually during the pupal stage. Hemolymph proteins from larvae three or four days after oviposition showed distinct age-specific electrophoretic profiles.
