description The reactive power generation capability of WT1500 wind turbine is theoretically analyzed. The network of reactive power testing platform is installed by composing of EtherCAT and multi-field bus. In this paper, the overall technical program of reactive power control is proposed, and which is controlled and realized by PLC program, and the reactive power generation capability is tested in workshop based on back to back power testing platform. The experiments prove correction of the theoretical analysis and feasibility of the control scheme.
