| Summary: | The article dwells upon the reliability of spiral compressor units, installed on 2ES6 “Sinara” locomotives. There is implemented a comparison of the reliability of the compressor units of old and new designs, as well as two types of units of compressor installations. Besides, the reliability of the installations, operated in two different depots, was investigated using statistical methods. The article provides recommendations on preventing unplanned failures and calls for repairs. |
