| Summary: | The current research was done, aiming at the analysis of the relationship between social courage and political culture among Shiraz University students. In the current study Latane and Darley's ideas, as well as Almond and Verba's theory have been used as the theoretical framework. The method used in this research was of a surveys one which has been implemented choosing structured questionnairs as a tool for data collection among a sample of 400 people of university students and sampling method was stratified. To test the research hypotheses we used Pierson correlation, mean comparison test and ANOVA test. According to the findings, the political culture of %17.6 of the students was participant, that of %58.5 was subject and the political culture of %23.8 of them was limited. Research findings were presented in two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics. Research findings were presented in two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics. On the basis of the research inferential findings, the relationship between social courage, gender and place of residence with political culture was confirmed and significant. Also, findings gained from regression analysis using stepwise method showed that variables social courage, gender and place of residence explain %11 of political culture. |
