| Summary: | The work is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of existing models of hydraulic fracturing crack propagation. The main approaches to predicting the geometric dimensions of cracks in various geological and physical conditions of field development are considered and the main advantages and disadvantages of each of them are identified. Using geological and field data from one of the facilities in Western Siberia, numerical modeling was carried out aimed at identifying hidden patterns between various dependencies characterizing cracks after single-stage hydraulic fracturing. Taking into account the low permeability of the facility, it was found that the use of the Perkinsen and Core model makes it possible to predict the effectiveness of hydraulic fracturing to the greatest extent reasonably. This is also confirmed by the conducted reference calculations on hydrodynamic models. It is concluded that further research is needed in this area, which will significantly increase the effectiveness of hydraulic fracturing. |
