Description
Summary:Objective To evaluate the effect of detailed managing on deep venous catheterization in hemodialysis patients. Methods 203 hemodialysis patients with deep venous catheterization from May 2013 to March2016 were randomly divided into two groups. The research group(109 cases)was given additional detailed managing with the basic normal nursing. The control group(94 cases)was only given the basic normal nursing. The rate of deep venous catheter shedding, hemorrhage, embolization, catheter associated infection, and the compliance in two groups were observed and analyzed statistically. Results There was significant difference between research group and control group in rate of deep venous catheter shedding(3%vs.17%),hemorrhage(14%vs.29%),and catheter associated infection(6%vs.17%)(P<0.05),but there was significant difference in the incidence of embolization(6% vs.6%)(P>0.05).Conclusions The application of the detailed managing could reduce the incidence of deep venous catheter shedding, hemorrhage, catheter associated infection, and the compliance, and could provide an effective temporary vascular access for blood purification treatment, and could improve the efficiency and quality of nursing.
