Summary:<p>Verbal reflection of ethnocultural stereotyping is an expression of socio-cultural characteristics of ethnic groups and historically formed interethnic and intercultural relations. In particular, the tendencies of functioning of ethnocultural stereotypes in society are clearly manifested in humorous discourse. Modern American stand-up comedy, combining features of personal conversation, socio-political commentary and acting performance, is a vivid reflection of social processes of interaction of ethnic groups and cultures in the US society as a multicultural state. The article is dedicated to the study of ways of verbalization of ethnocultural stereotypes in modern American Stand-up comedy. The concept of &ldquo;stereotype&rdquo; is considered as an ethno-cultural phenomenon from the perspective of linguistics, which allows to highlight the ways of its reflection in language. Based on the content of modern artists of Indian origin in American Stand-up comedy, the contextual analysis is carried out in order to identify and characterize the common features of verbalization of ethnocultural stereotypes.</p>
