| Summary: | This article aims to develop a digital portfolio as a learning tool for citizenship competencies, aligned with the assertions expressed by various authors in the literature regarding the existence of different means for creating digital portfolios, some of which are free and easily accessible. It also contributes to the teaching and learning process of teachers and students, respectively, by developing new skills in the use of technological tools, stimulating discipline, and encouraging self-learning, initiative, reflection, and analysis of achievements acquired and performed in the academic process. In order to develop the proposed approach, a semi-structured interview was created, consisting of five questions that were previously subjected to a pilot test and suggestions from three experts in question. With the above information, the responses obtained were coded by theoretical types, grouping them into categories and subcategories in order to process the information and build the portfolio based on the requirements found. The latter is developed in the Google Sites interface. The result clarifies the opinions held by some teachers regarding the use of portfolios and their versatility in educational processes. The design of a digital portfolio alluding to citizenship competencies is also obtained as an input for fifth grade students at the Oriental 26 Educational Institution in the city of Cúcuta. |
