Description
Summary:The relevance of the research is due to the necessity of integrating digital technologies into the educational process for children with special educational needs (SEN) in preschool educational institutions in Ukraine. The use of digital technologies contributes to enhancing the efficiency of learning, improving cognitive processes such as attention, memory, thinking, and speech, and ensuring the socialization and adaptation of children with SEN. The purpose of the article is to determine the impact of digital technologies on the educational process for children with SEN, as well as to identify the main advantages and challenges of their use. The research encompasses the analysis of contemporary theoretical approaches and practical experience in implementing digital tools in the educational process, as well as the specific adaptation of these tools to meet the needs of children with SEN. Research methods include theoretical analysis of literature sources, empirical methods of observation and interviews, and comparative analysis of the results of implementing digital technologies in Ukraine and abroad. In particular, examples of the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the USA, the UK, Sweden, and Australia are considered, where specialized programs and methods have been developed to support children with SEN. The content of the research covers various aspects of using digital technologies in preschool education, including their impact on children's mental and physical development, particularly on the development of the visual analyzer. Special attention is given to the analysis of individuallyoriented approaches that consider the developmental characteristics of each child. It was found that digital tools help to adapt educational materials, increasing their accessibility and learning efficiency, which is particularly important for children with SEN. The results of the study confirm that the use of digital technologies in preschool education promotes the intensification of the development of cognitive and social skills, as well as the motivational and emotional character of children. It was revealed that adaptive technologies, which allow educational materials to be customized according to the individual needs of the child, significantly improve the quality of the educational process.
