Summary:This authors propose an algorithm for estimating the operation reliability of complexes, sets and separate machines using statistical information based on the results od full-scale tests or modeling of their operation by Monte Carlo`s method. With this method it is possible to form a sample and calculate the basic parameters of the samples of construction machinery’s operation on any object. This will allow predicting for certain the period of construction and installation works at the design stage of construction. The authors determine the indicators of organizational and technological reliability of machines, standard of time, performance and cost of developing 1000 m3 of soil, as well as hours of operation, shutdowns and technological stops of excavator sets per shift.
