description The article presents results of experimental researches of the influence of higher harmonics on the value of resistance of wires of aluminum alloy. Experimental setup including the OMICRON test complex and the measuring unit based on the NI cDAQ data acquisition system were described. Experimental researches have been carried out for higher harmonics of current with a frequency of up to 1000 Hz inclusive. It was found that the nonlinear dependence of the value of the active resistance of the wire on the frequency of the currentflowing.
