Summary:Organizational work in all its fields is one of the most prominent features of civil society. The student organizations have formed a broad space in organizational work. Although the prominence of civil society organizations in Kurdistan is more political party related coincidence,  but those organizations have also been able to serve the students and educational institutions. In this study, the organization of (Kurdistan Students Association) is the focus of the investigation.  although it is not possible to present all aspects of the organizational work of this association, but an attempt has been made to clarify the concepts of its history. The study investigated and explained the situations and circumstances which the  organization of Kurdistan Students Association has experienced after the Kurdistan Uprising in the year of 1991, as well as the internal conferences and conferences of the organization which is referred to the conflicts, divisions and different directions with in the association. Then the position and roles of the association was presented during the events inside the Kurdistan region of Iraq, especially during the civil war. Finally the roles of the association in the field of journalism has been described and demonstrated.
