Description
Summary:In a view of the development process of train automation and the technical level of energy conservation, the development course and automatic level classification of the fully automatic operation (FAO) system in rail transit were analyzed. Meanwhile, the operational characteristics and the structure of FAO system were studied. Then, through a detailed survey on the energy conservation methods used in both domestic and international markets, the single train control strategy, the multiple train manipulation strategy and the use of energy storage devices were all elaborated. Moreover, the energy conservation strategy under automatic train operation (ATO) mode of rail transit and the recent research advances in relevant field were discussed subsequently. Finally, based on the reduction of dwell time by using the FAO system and the features of different city planning, the more effective operational strategy of FAO as well as the trend of region and whole net energy conservation strategy development in rail transit was discussed. In summary, it can provide some references for the exploration of the energy conservation method and dispatching arrangement of FAO in the future.
