Summary:Today, global health and medical tourism issues are put on the front burner by the international community. Governments intend to design strategies for developing multi-country medical tourism programs while the number of cross-border private trips for medical services is increasing. All of this significantly contributes to the improvement of national healthcare systems.Internationalization is one of the major trends in the progress of global health, covering aspects of information, analytics and research. It results in a growing volume of medical services received abroad. These processes are called medical tourism in the context of global migration and the export of medical services in the context of the development of national economies.
