description Plasma cell dyscrasias are a group of entities that usually result from the neoplastic proliferation of a single-plasma cell clone that produces a monoclonal immunoglobulin. Solitary plasmacytoma of the bone is defined as the localized accumulation of neoplastic monoclonal plasma cells without proof of a systemic plasma cell proliferative disorder. The clinical manifestations of solitary plasmacytoma of the mandible are nonspecific, with the most common clinical signs being facial swelling, tooth mobility, and sensory disturbances. Here, we present the case of pain and swelling on the left side of the body of the mandible in an 82-year-old female patient.
