| Summary: | In the last years, scholars explored various aspects of inclusivity concept within urban transportation planning, which is the web of interactions within the themes of transport equity conceptualization, social inclusion, transport geography, public health, and innovations. The collective insights from these diverse studies shed light on the multifaceted challenges and opportunities involved in designing transportation systems that are equitable, socially beneficial, and environmentally responsible. This study aims to consolidate these varied perspectives into a cohesive overview focusing on transport planning and policy-making through an umbrella review using ALARM framework. Through analysis and harmonization of common themes, divergences, and findings across the relevant literature as well as identifying crucial gaps and outlining insightful directions for future academic inquiry and policy formulation, this umbrella review offers a comprehensive understanding of the evolving dialogue on inclusive transportation. |
