| Summary: | The municipality of Ocaña, Norte de Santander, has been experiencing population growth in recent years. This is significantly reflected in the construction of buildings, sometimes carried out by private or public companies. These companies must complete the respective licensing procedures, which primarily require structural designs. These designs must meet the minimum design and construction requirements for earthquake-resistant buildings, along with technical guidelines for materials and other materials required for their use. Considering the above, the proposed project offers public and private entities dedicated to structural design technical considerations based on the Colombian Earthquake-Resistant Construction Regulation (NSR-10) to expedite reviews of structural plans and calculation reports involving the structural analysis and design of all elements comprising the structural system and secondary structural elements of reinforced concrete buildings. This research compiles and organizes the minimum technical and regulatory criteria for conducting technical reviews of structural elements using information from the Colombian Earthquake-Resistant Construction Regulation (NSR-10) and complementary bibliography. |
