A real dam was used as a case study, which began with the development of a 3D finite element model under several hypotheses. This model was analyzed using finite element method (FEM) calculations to simulate the displacements recorded by monitoring devices. The effectiveness of the methodology was evaluated based on the number and location of monitoring stations, demonstrating its ability to detect cracks and approximate their dimensions with acceptable accuracy. |
