Summary:In order to accurately detect the performance of the DC 600 V power supply and improve test efficiency, based on the principle of resistive load test, an automated test system for performance detection of DC 600 V power supply devices of harmony electrical locomotives was proposed. By using LabVIEW platform, the test system application software was developed, and TestSand software was used to serialized the test process. The current, voltage and grounding faults of DC 600 V power supply device under no-load and full load conditions were tested with the test system. The test results indicated that the test system could realize the detection of the voltage, current and grounding faults of the locomotive DC 600 V power supply unit in a variety of operations, which met the maintenance requirements of the locomotive DC 600 V power supply device.
