Description
Summary:This article presents a workshop design, which was developed within the ECML-pro- ject „ARC – Action research communities for language teachers“. On the one hand it provides language teachers with an initial introduction to action research, on the other hand it allows them to integrate this methodological approach into a teach- ing project. First, the idea and structure of the workshop design will be explained, followed by exemplifying the possibilities for adaptation and further development using the example of a teaching idea. The teaching idea connects to the field of (inter)cultural learning within multilingual learning groups, and it illustrates the possibilities for linguistic learning under consideration of action research.
