| Summary: | The objective of this paper is to reflect on the verb-visual elaboration present in the novel Homens imprudentemente poéticos, by Valter Hugo Mãe, from the analysis of the character Matsu and the figure of the chronotope of the suicide forest as the epicenter radiating narrative tensions. Therefore, we investigate the dialogical relations, with contribution in Mikhail Bakhtin and the Circle, and propose a reading of the verb-visuality, in the sense that the verbal is woven to make see with words. In this perspective, the analysis of the interrelationships woven between the content, the material, and the form of the text, in the sense of the dialogical aesthetics,bakhtinian proposed, will serve as a lens for understanding the imagery power of the text of Valter Hugo Mãe and its role in the narrative. |
