| Summary: | Finance literacy is essential for present day people along with skills of first aid or traffic regulations. Without fundamental knowledge about stock exchange and key finance instruments it is impossible even to take account of profits and expenditure and long-term planning of finance. Unfortunately, the current level of finance literacy of the population cannot allow us to speak about the high level of finance independence and protection of citizens against fraud on stock exchanges. By analyzing the present National Program of Enhancing the Level of Finance Literacy of the Population the author puts forward possible approaches to improving the situation. |
