| Summary: | The science of geography, which examines the earth as a whole with which humans interact, constitutes the main source of concepts related to land and land use. In general, it includes land, land and water areas, which include all elements of the earth. In other words, land; It is the exact geographical environment formed under the umbrella of climate on a geological basis, consisting of landforms, soil, natural vegetation and water, which has changed under the functional influence of humans and other living creatures. Land, which has many ecological, economic and social functions in the realization of sustainable development, is limited by the geological-geomorphological, climatic, hydrographic, soil and vegetation structure of its location. It is sensitive to natural events and human activities, and if not managed well, it easily breaks down and loses many of its functions. In this article, written in order to bring new conceptual views to the subject of land use, which has applications in many disciplines other than geography, the concepts of land, the nuance between land use and land utilization, natural and functional land division and land ability classification will be discussed. |
