| description | Abstract The adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) is a double benefit because it reduces greenhouse gas emissions and reduces our dependence on fossil fuels for fuel. There are several barriers to power conversion system optimization due to energy loss, battery limitations, and charging management needs. Researchers have examined EV power converter studies between 2010 and 2024 with a specific focus on DC-DC converters, inverters and charging systems. Studies from Scopus and Web of Science published journals supply bibliometric data to ascertain publication trends in addition to citation impacts and technological advancements by top research countries and regions. EV power studies exhibit tremendous progress, according to findings, which indicate India published 1109 papers and 17,793 citations. Government policy alongside industrial investments and new technology underpins EV adoption innovation, according to the study. Policy suggestions are at present in favour of financing efficient power converter technology at higher levels and enhancing battery recycling processes in addition to increasing V2G system application to make grids more robust. |
