Description
Summary:In order to improve the high - temperature oxidation performance of 310S stainless steel used in the engine, the NiCoCrSi bonding layer was firstly prepared by plasma spraying technology, and then 8YSZ ceramic layer was prepared on the surface of the bonding layer by explosive spraying. Through experimental tests, the microstructure and high - temperature oxidation performance under 1 110 ℃/6 h of the NiCoCrSi bonding layer and 8YSZ ceramic layer were compared. Results showed that many unmelted or semi - molten particles were formed in the surface area of NiCoCrSi bonding layer, with a roughness of 7.75 μm. Partially semi - fused particles with a roughness of 5.26 μm were generated in the surface area of 8YSZ ceramic layer. Dense tissue structures were formed within each coating, and no layers or pores were observed. Each coating formed a similar phase composition, which was composed of γ - AlNi3 and β - AlNi. The NiCoCrSi bonding layer and the 8YSZ ceramic layer both formed a similar phenomenon of mass change, with a rapid improvement in the quality of the coating occurring during the initial 20 h of high temperature oxidation. When the oxidation time was 20~60 h, the oxidation weight gain curve became slower. At 50 h, the NiCoCrSi bonding layer increased by 1.141 mg/cm2, and the weight gain of 8YSZ ceramic layer was 1.392 mg/cm2.
