description The aim of this paper was to observe in the book “Architecture, in Theory” the working method of J. F. Liernur, a researcher of the National Council on Scientific and Technical Research who claimed “History is not a Science because you have to speculate”. The results showed: lack of scientific researches as support of his reflections; low peer reviews; low literature review; correlations between properties but not searching causes, mechanism or detailed explanations; use of concepts from different disciplines without delimiting its interpretation or application from his task: a swing between a pseudocientific method and a non scientific one.
