Efficiency of use of thermal insulation fillers for steel ingots quality improvement
The calculation procedure of steel ingots hardening in molds during use of thermal insulation fillers and slag is worked out. The influence of parameters of the fillers and slag on the process of hardening in the ingot deadhead is investigated.
