This paper presents the existing reality of climate change in our country, addresses the difference between meteorological warnings and civil protection alerts, advocates the comprehensive management of disaster risk as a tool for risk reduction and provides some guidelines for adaptation to climate change and its associated atmospheric extremes in the Mediterranean regions. application.
