Summary:Controller design and debugging was the key for maglev system based on V-shaped guideway using a single set of magnets to simultaneously achieve suspension, guidance and propulsion. An experimental set with a tilt angle of 30°was proposed, and according to the relationship among suspension, guidance and roll motion, the reasonable control algorithm was chosen and designed. Simulation and experimental method were used to prove the effectiveness of the control algorithm. Experimental results showed that stability could be achieved for the suspension, guidance and roll motion of the experimental set.
