description | On the Internet, one finds communities that share evidence of a race of reptilian humanoids whose goal is to enslave and dominate the human race. Those who have awoken to the reality of the conspiracy call themselves “truth seekers”. By exploring various text and video resources, this article tries to reconstruct the journey that leads from ignorance to knowledge of the conspiracy. It attempts to show how a hidden entity becomes “overperceptible”, visible everywhere, and how the truth seekers demonstrate the existence of reptilian humanoids. It argues that the invisible reptilians become too visible after the introduction of a certain form of investigation, which acts like a revealer of the reality of the conspiracy. Finally, it invites us to reflect on the meaning of the dynamic of these communities surrounding an investigation that demonstrates the existence of something invisible. |
