description The article focuses on street mobilizations in downtown Tunis during the first and second revolutionary situations and crosses feminist approaches with classics of political science and which have until now had little dialogue. This intersection leads to revisiting major concepts and tools of political science, such as risk and protagonism. The article shows that gendered spatial arrangements in revolutionary situations are both in continuity with and in rupture with those in ordinary circumstances, that the ruptures and their extent depend on risk and its variation. While remaining structured by gender, revolutionary situations are accompanied by a renegotiation of spatial and symbolic gendered boundaries, however under certain conditions: it is important to take into account the dynamics of the revolution.
