And they are more and more widely used in many fields closely related to our life, such as industry, food production, medical treatment, and greening, and the manufacturing process is more and more mature. In addition, the water absorption capacity of water retaining agent is not only related to its own components but also related to the external environment. The water absorption mechanism and the factors affecting water absorption capacity of water retaining agent were explored as follows.
