| Summary: | To explore and analyze the research hotspots and trends in international medical research integrity, the authors, institutions, and key words of the included 839 papers were measured and visualized using CiteSpace software. The number of foreign research on medical research integrity shows steady growth, the influence is steadily increasing. Foreign research on medical research integrity is mainly concentrated in the fields of medicine, ethics, sociology, philosophy. Research hotspots are mainly summarized into three major themes: academic misconduct in medical research and publication, prevention and management of medical research integrity, scientific literacy of medical researchers and education on medical research integrity. Emerging trends may focus on the investigation and prevention of academic misconduct, publication ethics in medical journals, and the application of artificial intelligence technologies, which are likely to become key areas in future research on medical research integrity. |
